Our Story
Jutik began with three friends and a simple belief — the things we use every day should carry meaning, not waste.
Growing up in Bengal, jute was never a trend — it was simply a way of life. Our grandparents carried it, our homes were filled with it, and somewhere along the way, we replaced it with convenience and forgot the stories woven into its fibres.
We started Jutik to bring those stories back — not through nostalgia, but through design made for modern living. We wanted something that could sit on a desk in a glass office, ride the metro at rush hour, and still feel like it belonged to a home in Kolkata.
Every Jutik piece is a small reminder that sustainability can be beautiful, that rituals can be simple, and that the most meaningful things are often the ones rooted closest to home. This is only the beginning of that story — we're building it one season, one fibre, one friend at a time.
